Levi Strauss & Co. and Workers United are celebrating the grand opening of a new product depot in Hebron, Kentucky. The facility will create new jobs for the community and deepens Levi Strauss & Co.’s longtime commitment to the region.

 
Levi Strauss & Co. will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate this addition, including comments from the presidents of LS&Co. and Workers United.

Robert Hanson, President of Levi Strauss Americas

Bruce Raynor, President of Workers United, an affiliate of SEIU. Workers United represents approximately 600 employees at Levi Strauss & Co.’s Hebron distribution center.

The 151,000 sq. ft. depot will receive products arriving from manufacturing facilities around the world and also provide additional storage capacity for the company’s nearby distribution center.

 

LS&Co. has a longstanding commitment to the Hebron area. Employees in the Hebron distribution center’s Community Involvement Team tackle about 10 local volunteer projects each year. They also raise tens of thousand of dollars each year that are donated to local nonprofit organizations.
