McPherson College Bulldogs Host #9-Ranked Friends University Falcons Saturday Sept. 12 in College Fanz Sports Network’s NAIA Football Game of the Week

GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-(Business Wire)-September 11, 2009 - College Fanz Sports Network, the world’s largest online college sports community launched by ESPN founder Bill Rasmussen, will feature #9-ranked Friends University at McPherson College in the College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week this Saturday, September 12th, at 7 p.m. Central/8 p.m. Eastern, in a live TV webcast at http://www.CollegeFanz.com.

The colorful College Fanz Van arrives in McPherson, Kansas today to provide live, on-site coverage, including the pre-game, half-time, and post-game shows from on campus. The inaugural season of the College Fanz NAIA Football Game of the Week delivers live video stream TV coverage of games each weekend throughout the 2009 season. McPherson opened the 2009 season last week with a 61-6 victory over Haskell Indian Nations University, showing an impressive display of balanced offense and tough defense. The win was the Bulldogs third in a row against the Indians.

Tomorrow’s game is the season opener for defending Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) champion Friends University (Wichita, KS). The Falcons enter the season ranked ninth in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). They were selected in the pre-season as the favorite to win the KCAC again in 2009.
