Water Wisdom Workshop at the Largest Green Fair in the South

FREDERICKSBURG, Texas-(Business Wire)-September 11, 2009 - Toby Hemenway, 2009 Chelsea Green author of the world’s leading book on permaculture, Gaia’s Garden, A guide to Home-Scale Permaculture is the Friday September 25th keynote speaker taking place at 5 p.m. Hemenway will also lead a workshop, Water Wisdom for Dry Climates Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The workshop addresses one of the most vital elements to sustainable living, water! This timely workshop will show you how to turn water scarcity into water abundance with simple techniques that can be used anywhere.

The 10th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair, a Texas statewide green living fair, is the largest in the South taking place Friday, September 25th through Sunday, the 27th. The Roundup is located at Market Square in downtown Fredericksburg, Texas and costs $10 on Friday or Sunday, $12 on Saturday. A weekend pass can be purchased for $20 and children under 12 are free.

Proceeds will benefit TREIA and TXSES, two Texas non-profits that strive to increase the awareness of renewable energy applications and promote their use.
