Dallas Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Chad Willis to Host Invitation-Only Celebrity Charity Event at His Downtown Dallas Restaurant AMPM
DALLAS-(Business Wire)-September 10, 2009 - AMPM restaurant & lounge, owned by Dallas entrepreneur and philanthropist Chad Willis, will be the hosting venue for the red carpet cocktail reception and pairings party for the first annual Celebrity Texas Shootout. The golf tournament and red carpet reception are invitation-only events. The Celebrity Shootout is hosted by Dallas Cowboys greats Darren Woodson and Jay Novacek. The cocktail reception and pairings party at AMPM benefits the Rich Behm Family Trust Fund and alley’s house. The Rich Behm Family Trust Fund was established for the family of Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant Rich Behm who was paralyzed in the collapse of the team’s indoor practice facility this past spring. alley’s house is a Dallas-based nonprofit organization empowering teenage mothers through education, support and mentoring services.
The cocktail reception at AMPM will be attended by dozens of well-known, respected Dallas sports stars and sports media. There will be a silent auction and a live auction, first-class hors d’oeuvres by famed AMPM chef Tommy Simpson, and an open bar.
