SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.-(Business Wire)-September 10, 2009 - Arizona retirees will have more choices in housing this year with the arrival of Arté in late 2009, the newest independent and assisted living community located at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda in Scottsdale. Arté offers an entirely different experience in retirement living, from innovative and compelling design to fine dining—at an affordable price.

The newest addition to an already successful collection of retirement communities owned and operated by the Avenir Group, Arté is located near the Mayo Clinic and neighborhood shopping centers. The community offers residents an enhanced lifestyle with first-class cuisine, superior services and amenities that are Avenir’s trademark. Beautifully constructed to give its residents the feel of a custom home, Arté also offers more affordable luxury for its community members with a rental-style price plan. Residents only pay a small community fee of $5,000 and then monthly rental fees of between $2,995 and $6,995, depending on the suite they rent, as opposed to high down payments common at many communities.

“Arté is not a typical retirement community,” said Jason Craik, vice president, Avenir Group. “We strive to give our residents a five- star experience through our design and the quality of the community, and we’ve managed to achieve this at an affordable price.”

The goal of Arté is to provide a home for seniors that allows them to live with dignity and freedom. The unique, Art Deco inspired design and custom furnishings differentiate Arté from other retirement communities—more than 500 oil paintings will grace the dining room, halls and entryway, with grand twin staircases descending into the reception area. An upstairs sports lounge with overstuffed chairs, plasma TVs, game tables and billiards will create the perfect setting for social affairs or private entertaining. The elegant dining room will feature fine food prepared by a classically trained chef. Additionally, the community includes a heated pool and spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor trail system around the entire community, and social activities and special programs will be offered daily. A private dining room is also available to residents if they wish to host dinner parties.

Arté will have 170 suites in total, with 152 independent living suites and 18 suites designated for assisted living. Suites available range from studios to 2 bedroom/2 bathrooms with a den with the square footage ranging from 413 sq. ft. to a very spacious 1,337 sq. ft.

While Arté is an independent living community, it is prepared for any emergencies that may occur. An in-home nurse call system directly dials the front desk, and a nurse is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The location is also ideal—just minutes from the Mayo Clinic and Scottsdale Healthcare.

The Arté sales office is open now at 114th Street and Via Linda. For more information, please visit www.arteresortliving.com or call 480-451-1800.
