PITTSBURGH & SEATTLE-(Business Wire)-September 10, 2009 - Wizzard Media (NYSE Amex: WZE), the world’s largest podcasting network, has partnered with Melodeo, purveyors of the successful nuTsie line of digital music products, on Usher’s Top 100, an iPhone app featuring 100 of the pop superstar’s favorite songs in a streaming playlist. Usher is currently a Wizzard Network podcaster.

Usher’s Top 100 will allow listeners to stream popular music to their mobile phone, purchase music through iTunes, download and listen to it anywhere or any time in high quality stereo. The App will sell for $2.99 and the deal calls for a revenue share between the parties.

“We are very excited about working with Melodeo,” says Chris Spencer, Wizzard Media CEO. “Melodeo and their nuTsie line of Apps is one of the most popular brands in the iTunes App Store and when marketed through the music related podcasts Wizzard distributes to millions of consumers through iTunes, we think this can be a winning combination for both companies.”

“iPhone apps are exploding, including for musical artists, but nobody’s done anything like this,” said Dave Dederer, VP of Business Development at Melodeo. “This is the first app that combines a major recording artist, podcast marketing to iTunes consumers and a new model for selling music. Hopefully, this will show the music industry that there are options beyond the old product units of songs, albums and ringtones.”
