Concerro Adds Location-Based Graphical Interface to CommandAware® Hospital Incident Management System
SAN DIEGO-(Business Wire)-September 9, 2009 - San Diego-based Concerro, Inc., the market leader in enterprise-wide hospital shift and disaster workforce management software, has enhanced its CommandAware® hospital incident management system by adding a new location-based intelligence tool to help clients identify and interact with regional data in a more efficient way.
CommandAware is now integrated with Google Maps™ web mapping service to provide hospital command center staff with the ability to view real-time intelligence from other hospitals in their region using CommandAware's dashboard. The mapping feature allows incident managers to visualize surrounding hospitals on a map and drill down for additional information such as hospital demographics, whether an incident has been activated, the status of the emergency department and decontamination capacity.
The interface allows incident commanders to communicate geographically regarding the entire region’s response capabilities and resources, facilitating better awareness and decision making for effective incident and disaster response.
