Alice Connell Joins Parmenter Realty Partners Advisory Board
MIAMI-(Business Wire)-September 8, 2009 - Parmenter Realty Partners, a real estate investment, management, and development company, is pleased to announce Alice Connell as the newest member of Parmenter’s Advisory Board. Ms. Connell is president and CEO of AM Connell Associates (“AMCA”), which provides real estate consultative services and strategic advice. Prior to forming AMCA in 2007, Ms. Connell was Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Management of TIAA-CREF.
Among her many achievements while at TIAA-CREF are the creation of the first strategic plan for a $25 billion commercial debt portfolio, the development of a private equity real estate portfolio which achieved first quartile performance results, and the creation of a successful international real estate equity portfolio.

Ms. Connell is a thrice elected Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and Founder and past Chair of ULI New York’s District Council, is a member of the International Real Estate Advisory Board of EuroHypo A.G., a member of the Real Estate Advisory Committee of the New York State Common Retirement Fund, a member of the Investment Committee of the Quilvest Real Estate Opportunity Fund, and a member of the Advisory Committee of Park Madison Partners. She is a past Board member of both the Pension Real Estate Association (“PREA”) and WX (Women Executives in Real Estate), and a past member of the Executive Committee of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2003, she was honored by WX as their Real Estate Woman of the Year.
Ms. Connell holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from St. Bonaventure University and an M.A. degree from New York University. She is active in mentoring students pursuing real estate careers at the Wharton School, New York and Columbia Universities. She is married and has one son.
