ABOUT HARMON LIBRARY:

Harmon Library was originally built in 1950 and is Phoenix Public Library’s first branch facility. The new 12,300-square-foot facility features a children’s story room, community meeting room, teen space, wireless Internet access, study rooms, more than 25 computers for public use, patio spaces and a new collection of newspapers and magazines, books, DVDs and CDs.
 
Designed by richärd + bauer, llc. and built by Mortenson Construction, the project was funded through the 2006 Citizens Bond Program.
