SAN JOSE, Calif.-(Business Wire)-September 2, 2009 - Dogs Take the Lead at San Jose’s Bark in the Park on Saturday, September 19, 2009, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in William Street Park (Corner of E. William Street and S. 16th Street) in downtown San Jose, CA. Bark in the Park 2009 presented by Canidae, All Natural Pet Foods, is a fun event that attracts over 3,500 dogs and 14,000 humans. Highlights of the event are the Dog in Costume, Silly Dog Tricks, and Pet-Owner Look Alike Contests. Located in an expansive, tree lined Neighborhood Park, this casual, family oriented day features contests, music, beverages, food, celebrities, demonstrations, dog-related vendors and services, kids activities. And, dogs, lots of dogs. Admission is free with a $5 donation per dog encouraged.
