Jean Chatzky, Noted Personal Finance Author, to Speak Friday, Sept. 4 at New York State Fair, Available for Media Interviews

WHO:		Jean Chatzky is a best-selling author and popular motivational speaker who is dedicated to helping people create healthy financial lives.

WHAT:		Ms. Chatzky will deliver two presentations at the fair that are open to the public at no charge. She will speak about personal finance, including the importance of saving for college education. Ms. Chatzky’s latest book is The Difference. How Anyone can Prosper in Even the Toughest Times.

		The media is welcome to attend either presentation and interview Ms. Chatzky (see times below).

		Ms. Chatzky’s appearance is sponsored by New York’s 529 College Savings Program Direct Plan. John Heywood, who oversees Vanguard’s education savings group, is also available to speak about college savings planning. Vanguard is the investment manager for the plan.

WHEN:		Sept. 4, 2009
		Ms. Chatzky will speak from 11 a.m. to noon and 2 to 3 p.m.
