GSI Commerce and Delivery Agent Enter into Multiyear Strategic Partnership

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. & SAN FRANCISCO-(Business Wire)-August 24, 2009 - GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC), the leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions, today announced that Delivery Agent, Inc., the leader in shop-enabling entertainment, has signed a multiyear agreement with GSI to provide scalable e-commerce services to the entertainment industry in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Under the agreement, Delivery Agent will provide GSI’s fulfillment and customer care services to its existing entertainment clients, including the four major broadcast networks, top cable networks and sports franchises. In addition, Delivery Agent will offer its clients:

  • Access to a broad assortment of licensed products to support future Delivery Agent clients in its emerging sports business
  • Access to ShipQuikSM, GSI’s proprietary package-delivery program that offers one of the best delivery experiences in the industry for online shoppers
  • E-mail marketing services, powered by e-Dialog, a subsidiary of GSI

Delivery Agent will continue to directly manage all of its clients’ technology, merchandising, product development, ad sales and interactive marketing.
